Thanks for visiting my teacher blog!

I have been teaching in upper elementary, middle, and high school inclusion classrooms since 2001. Before I was a teacher, I worked for a decade as a graphic artist in the instructional media industry. I’m also a lucky husband and father. I live in sunny California and I like biking, drawing, and teaching!

I purchased your math vocabulary for 6th graders and the CCSS ‘I Can’ set for math and science. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them and so does everyone who comes in (even my new principal) my room. We have a set of vocabulary words we are focusing on to preload for 7th grade. Some of the words are not in the set. Is there anyway you could do those as well? I am also very interested if you create a vocab list for earth science. Having the word, definition, and illustration/example was what my principal is now requiring…and I had already purchased these. She wants me to share your info with our teachers.

Hi Kathy. Thanks for commenting! I wonder if the “preload” words you are looking for are in my vocab cards set for 6th grade? Here’s the link. All the words it contains are in the product description.

If you don’t see them in there, email me at so we can discuss further.

I’d love to make a vocab list for earth science. It’s on my to-do list.

Tried entering on your blog for the markers let me put my email but wouldn’t let me leave a comment (was using my iPad) So…..maybe next school supplies should be sand timers or stopwatches for timing fluency. Sorry that I had to leave comment here. Have a great evening:)
